VisualEdge Appoints February 8, 2007
(North Canton, Ohio). Mr. Mark C. Lewis, President and CEO of Visual Edge
Technology Inc. (VisualEdge) announced today that Yvonne M. Curtis has been
appointed to the newly created position of Chief Accounting Officer of the
corporation. Ms. Curtis will report
directly to Mr. Lewis and will be responsible for all corporate financial and
accounting controls and IT systems for this parent company of imaging
technology solutions businesses. ”Yvonne has a proven record
of integrating the accounting practices of multiple companies, developing
financial controls, analyzing synergies for process improvement, and
acquisition due diligence,” said Mr. Lewis. “Her hands-on
management style, strong analytical skills and extensive experience in
budgeting, forecasting, auditing and compliance reporting will make her an
extremely strong asset to the company. We are pleased to have her join us as
a member of our corporation’s executive team.” Most recently, Ms. Curtis has been
working for VisualEdge on a consulting basis for corporate controller
services while holding the position of Vice President and CFO for Boston
Laser, Inc. Ms. Curtis formerly held
positions with VisualEdge and its subsidiaries as Corporate Controller as
well as Director of Finance and Operations.
She was instrumental in consolidating several business entities into a
single operating company and then restructuring the organization to position
it for its current growth strategy. Prior to VisualEdge, she held senior
financial and human resources positions at Brooks Internet Software, Inc. She
was also self-employed as a management consultant for three years at JAS
Management Services Inc. and spent five years in accounting management and
marketing functions at Cortland Line Company. “I’m looking forward to putting
my strong knowledge of Visual Edge Technology and its various businesses to
work not only for the corporation but also as a trusted advisor to the
operating companies,” said Ms. Curtis. “I’m happy to be
