Board of Directors appoints New President, Chief Executive Officer August 19, 2004 (North Canton, Ohio). Graphic Enterprises Inc., (GEI) a leading worldwide valued added solutions provider in the office equipment and wide format markets, specializing in service and support to its customers and vendor partners, appointed on July 16, 2004, Mark C. Lewis to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Lewis will serve as President and CEO for both Visual Edge Technology (VET) and the wholly owned subsidiary GEI. Formerly Chief Operating Officer, he now becomes immediately responsible for all aspects of the Company operations. “We congratulate Mark on his new appointment and look forward to a highly successful future under his leadership, “said Austin Vanchieri, Chairman of the Board of VET/GEI. “This change prepares us to continue the aggressive execution of the near term plans at GEI and the longer term plans for expansion.” Lewis is well-known in the general imaging and copying solutions marketplace and provides the Company with the required leadership and experience of over 22 years in the industry. Prior to joining GEI in February, 2002, he served as CEO and President of CalGraph Technology Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tekgraf Inc. a NASDAQ listed company in the wide format distribution, print-on-demand and service businesses, which he co-founded and helped build through an acquisition strategy and an initial public offering. From 1987 to 1998, Mr. Lewis was the founder, CEO and President of Media Graphics Distribution, a wholesale distributor of general imaging solutions. Mr. Lewis’ leadership and business experience also includes serving as CEO and President of Martec Marketing, a west coast manufacturer representative which he co-founded, and as President of the Vision Group National Trade Association in 1995 and 1996. Mr. Lewis’ extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions was instrumental in the recent merger of VET and GEI in February of 2004. Mr. Lewis received his B.S. degree in General Management from Purdue University in 1982.
